Welcome to our Show Team page!  Here at Rose Gate Farm, we are so proud of our riders that we felt the need to dedicate a special spot on our website, just for them!  Keep an eye on this page as our team grows. 

Meet the team:

Faith Weimerskirch

Faith has only been riding horses for a scant year. In that short time, she not only learned to ride, but gained an education in basic horsemanship and showmanship skills. She has done so well this year that she qualified for the Region 9 AHA Championships!  This year, she rides in walk/trot classes and will transition to canter classes. We are so proud of Faith and how far she has come this year. 

Jessica Hein

Jessica has been riding and showing Hunter and Jumping horses since 1988. She is the proud owner of "Ozzie", a tall well-built American Paint Horse. Jessica plays an important role here at Rose Gate Farm as staff photographer and teaching assistant. Her skills behind a camera are second to none! Her photography work can be found throughout Rose Gate Farm's printed and internet media.  Jessica grew up showing in 4-H and Open shows, eventually graduating to regional and national-level competitions. She was a national finalist in Novice Equitation Over Fences at the 2003 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championship. Rose Gate Farm is thrilled to have someone of Jessica's caliber on our team! 

Rachel Lichau

Meet Rachel Lichau and her 9 year old Appaloosa mare, Samantha.  Samantha started out as a Western horse and has been ridden Western most of her career. She is turning a corner, however. Rachel's goal for Samantha in 2011 was to win an Appaloosa World title in Pre-Green Hunter.  With guidance from Jessica, and Peter in the irons, they won Top 5 honors!
